Caravaggio Experience is an original video installation, at the Reggia di Venaria, presenting the works of the famous master Michelangelo Merisi in a dazzling contemporary display. For any art-lover, this is a once-in-a-life experience that nobody should miss.

Using a sophisticated large-scale multi-projection system combined with evocative music and olfactory fragrances, this exhibition in Turin, which will be on up to the 1st of October, creates a unique artistic and sensory experience in which the visitor is “immersed” in the artwork of the 17th-century master.

In the grandiose architectural setting of Juvarra’s Citroniera at La Venaria Reale, the visitor is invited to engage in a 50-minute projection and music show that accompanies the whole display, without interruptions and in loop, where 58 works by the great painter are evoked.

The installation presents the main themes of Caravaggio’s entire production: light, naturalism, theatrical staging, violence. It ends with an ideal “journey” through the places where he lived, following chronologically the main phases of his incredible life.
